Naracoopa Gallery, nestled in leafy Bracken Ridge, is a treasure trove of surprises. A purpose designed gallery and dedicated artist studio is the perfect space to view artworks by owners Grace and David Cross. The light-filled gallery boasts sleek modern lines, tonnes of white space and huge windows with a vista to the Brisbane City skyline, mouth of the river, Mt Cootha and beyond. You will find artworks diversified, contemporary, abstract and photo real; comprising oil paintings, Mixed Media, Textiles, Artist Books, Drawings and beyond. David and Grace Cross are both Brisbane based visual artists. Their local environment of the bay, foreshores, cliffs and wetlands, as well as their many travels, are a constant source of inspiration for their artworks .
Naracoopa Art Gallery is open for viewing by appointment or when the Art flag and open sign is flying on the weekends, just call or email for viewing appointments or follow us on Facebook and Instagram for open updates. Exhibitions of guest artists, solos of host artists artworks, and artist talks are planned for 2024, Creative Art Trail will be here 19/20 & 26/27 Oct 2024 from 10am to 4pm each Sat/Sun and many workshops are planned throughout 2024 in our studio. Most of David’s Original Oil Paintings are available for purchase in archival Fine Art Reproductions so you can have any substrate, surface, or size you want to suit your hanging space.
