This piece is a collection of recycled German books with paper and stitching intertwined between the pages to create a mystical/spiritual soothing ambiance. Written on the board is “.. these pages are earmarked..” leaving it  to the viewer to ponder the individual importance of each page folded and ‘earmarked’ for consideration.

David has chosen to exhibit one of his current works, “Aurora”, which is an original oil painting of a magnificent Moreton Bay Fig tree in Shorncliffe. Inspired by the light dappling through the tree leaves at dusk, David set out to interpret the magic of the figs on the cliffs.
